Pour répondre aux besoins nés de la formation de cadets étrangers, l'USAAF recruta au sein de ses troupes des interprètes ayant la qualification technique appropriée à chacune des spécialités. Maurice Boisclair, issu d'une ancienne famille Franco-Canadienne fut désigné en tant qu'interprète auprès des "French Cadets" en formation à Keesler Field :

"Interpreter, French-For 24 months was assigned to Squadron E, 3704th AAF Base Unit, Keesler Field, Miss. Interpreted the meaning of lessons given by all American instructors to a class of French students. Followed the French students through their complete course in airplane engine mechanics school. Taught the English language to French students and assisted them in their technical studies."

Interprèter le contenu des lessons données par les instructeurs Américains aux étudiants Français.
